a good chance to CHANGE

the more we get older, the harder for us to change

kung saan ka masaya dun ka IS WRONG
kung ano ang tama dun ka at dun ka maging masaya

change is one of the major adjustment for every individual.  it takes a lot of guts for one to change

the only thing that is constant in this world

two mainstream or change
-change for the better
-change for the worst

factors of change
1. circumstances (a condition that affects the situation)

2. situation (happening that exist at a particular time/place)

3. position (the right or appropriate place)

4. possession (condition of owning something)

God's factor of change
1. word of God (heb. 4:12) For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.

2 tim 3:16-17
16 Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

2. the Holy spirit
acts 1:8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth."

3. fellowship (koinonia)
acts 2:42
42 They were devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

4. circumstances
(life of job-must not only hold your obligation. God wants you to establish your obligation.)

requirements
1. determination
2. sacrifice
3. persistence
4. perseverance

lesson to learn
change can be done by individual but without an eternal purpose. but the change brought by the holy spirit leads to repentance and the change becomes permanent and progressive. it is called tranformation. and it will bring us to eternal purpose with God.

2 cor. 3:18 And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

conclusion
change is inevitable. it can make you better or bitter. change always stand to your choice because God is patiently waiting for every individual.

NOW is the good chance to change.

hebrews 4:7 So God again ordains a certain day, "Today," speaking through David after so long a time, as in the words quoted before, "O, that today you would listen as he speaks! Do not harden your hearts."
